The Meteors shot to the top of my favorites the first hour. They are immensely entertaining and enjoyable with zero weaknesses to my ears and are amazingly comfortable to boot. They are truly an end game set, and I have many kilobuck plus plus sets that the Meteors outperform easily.

The Meteor, simply put - sounds MASSIVE. Symphonium Audio created the Meteor to shock you the very first second the music starts playing - extracting the speed, detail and raw energy from your music and delivering it in a fun way that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Bass so physical that you feel air pushed into your ears and basslines vibrating from the thick bass strings. Treble so extended with its cymbals sounding ethereal and textured.

I've had these for a month now. I've been in love with them from the moment I pressed play on my Walkman. I'll give a slight edge to the overall fit to the Mega 5EST's. I loved the Megas, but these Meteors solved every complaint I had with them. Such a massive sound compared to those. The sub bass is incredible. Drums are impactful without needing EQ. Extremely detailed, without being harsh. I listen to these for hours without any fatigue. Mids aren't as forward as the Megas, but are in no way missing. I hear more details using these. Metal, classical, house, rap, synthwave. These have handled everything I've thrown at them so far. I decided to try them on my Xperia for movies, and I was blown away by the experience. Dune pt 2 was incredible using these. It's like having surround sound on the go. I've run them off my Asgard 3 and Zen Can Signature when gaming on my PC. These rival my Z7M2s and 660S2s for gaming. For being an all BA IEM that's smaller than anything I've owned, the bass is incredible, but never overdone. The last thing I'll mention is the massive sound they produce. You'll hear things that sound like they are outside your head, above, and behind you. I cannot truly express my love for these. I spent 6 months trying to find the right sound for me, and these are everything I've ever wanted in a pair of IEMs or headphones in general.
The cable was smashed in the waterproof case the iems come in, it does still work however there is a very ugly crease in the cabke and I believe a small tear. It will likely oxidize over time, and i wish the $100 cable that came with the iems wasn't damaged. Or charge me $100 less and keep the cable.
Really been enjoying the IEMs!!! The sound is quite a joy and is a great bassy set. My second fav IEM after the Dunu SA6!!! Would highly recommend!!!
The sound quality of the iem are amazing and so clear. They are on the smaller size, but don't be mistaken that it won't be loud, because they are. I do enjoy them a lot so far, and I would recommend them^^
The Symphonium Audio Meteor IEMs are a fantastic addition to my modest collection. Don't let their small size fool you; these IEMs pack a punch. The sound is crisp and clear without edging into harshness, and the bass is robust, especially for a Balanced Armature (BA) setup. Comfort-wise, they're a dream. I can wear them throughout an entire workday without any discomfort—they practically disappear once in.
Honestly I probably wouldn’t have considered this set had I not read so many great things about it on this site. I’m glad I decided to go for it though, the Meteor fills a unique role I didn’t even know o was missing. Great dark, warm character but doesn’t sacrifice detail. Im not even a big bass head, but it’s so well executed here that it doesn’t seem overwhelming to me. To my ears these sound richer and more natural than any other set I’ve tried, and while they aren’t neutral enough for critical listening they’re clearly not designed for that. This is a set, to me, for actually enjoying music, for just savoring my favorite albums. Instantly one of my favorite IEMs and I definitely recommend trying them to whoever is even a little curious about them.
Really lovely sounding IEM! I didn’t like them at first with the stock tips, but I never usually get a good seal with stock tips. Once I put some spinfit CP100s on, the midrange and top end really opened up and the bass became very punchy but controlled. They’re a nice complement to my IE600. Still very detailed, but a warmer more musical tuning that sounds great with almost any recording. Still very extended in the top end, slight emphasis in the air regions but it’s done just right, never strident or sibilant. The accessory package is pretty great too, the cable is really nice.
I mostly listen to instrumental music and EDM these IEMs do a great job. They really really surprised me when I put on some Rock music. With Dance Gavin Dance, it felt very fun. The instruments really shinned. You can make out all the notes from the bass guitar and the guitar. At the same time the vocals felt like it was right next to it all, not in front of it. The song felt like it was live and I have no complaints.
After having these for a 3 days now. I must say I very like these very much. Bass wise it’s hits hard and it feels good. Midd sound clear if now sometimes a little far on some tracks but non shouty which I like. Treble is good for this price but it has a zing to it like cymbals sounds alittle harsh if not sound zingy and to me hurts the ear. Details or soundstage sound wide but imaging sounds okay But overall good set I don’t like BAs only because of pressure build up and no hold for air but I like these very much I would recommend these for bass!
They are a cute shell! Pictured here with the Blessings 2 Dusk and the Salnotes Dioko. I really like mine, been a fun sonic little set.
The tuning is closer to V shape with excellent steady bass line including nearly perfect percussion response and treble extention and articulations that even few kilobuck IEM can achieve. The mids and upper mids, instruments placement will never have introduced unwanted 2nd and 3rd sibilant harmonics to it's presentation, very cohesive for any kind of track you throw at it. Fits also ultra speedy tracks, in fact Meteor is one the best handling speed and resolution at the same time. What I didn't like is Meteor is very power demanding despite it's low impedance. Along with this the shell is not very ergonomic in ear even if they are very small, they are unstable and needs attention for the fit in listening session. Cable is flexible and excellent 4.4mm.
Flawless reproduction. I wasn’t sure I would keep them because they are so much more expensive than some really nice IEM’s I have. I compared the Meteor to other pairs I have. All of them were impressive on some or many levels but also had weaknesses. The Meteor matched them them on their best strengths or was better without the flaws. Where some might have strong sub bass or mid bass the meteor had both stronger. If another IEM had fantastic detail the meteor was better. Vocals are clearer on the meteor. Tonality is better. Instrument separation is better. It played dance club music as well as my best sub bass pair and and Jazz as my best tonal pair. If others got shouty or painful the Meteor didn’t. Examples are Jacintha’s in the mood for love. It has a stand up bass playing with a guitar playing low chords. The bass is deep and detailed while the guitar is totally separate. Both with real tonality and attack on the strings. Her voice is not sibilant at all but you can hear the edge on her vocal. The soundstage is as good or better than the ones I tried. On dance synths bass the Meteor hits low and strong and still sounds musical. It’s not just bass tones you can hear the voicing of the synths. I used a mix of amps single ended and balanced. Meteor were playing on a Topping A30 from an SMSL 9 Dac and a Schiit Loki eq. I could feed the Topping by XLR directly or rca from the Loki. Some headphones needed EQ some benefit. An IEM that wasn’t controlling mid bass or was tuned down would respond well. Over energetic treble can be tuned. The meteor did not need Eq to gain control or be more powerful or tune treble. They would take EQ on any level nicely without being over driven. Sounds great flat or EQ’ed to the max. Any IEM I had that it clearly beat went back in its box. That was every one. They will still get played but the Meteor rocked them.
These are exceptional. The tuning is fantastic for my tastes. Very engaging and immersive presentation. Build quality is great, and they are small and comfortable. I listen to metal, rap, bluegrass, reggae, down-tempo electronic, classical piano, classic rock, etc. and everything sounds great. Not an inexpensive pair of IEMs, but if they are within your budget, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
Great set of IEMs. I was hesitant at first due to the all BA configuration, but I wasn't let down. These have an excellent amount of bass while still being a detailed IEM. Works great for Rock, Metal, and EDM as well as Pop.

First time with a u shaped tuning and a all ba set. I'm really impressed with how the bass hits and the expansive soundstage! It's crazy how these things sound for how little they are. If this is how their cheapest model sounds I definitely want to hear the helios in the future!
Wonderful all-arounder with great detail, separation, and coherency. It's hard to describe but it's like they created a warm set with great treble that isn't fatiguing. Extremely happy with my purchase and with my first headphones.com experience!
Phenomenal set with some A class bass for an all BA set. Bass texture is one of the best I’ve heard paired with brilliant smooth treble. Don’t know how they’re getting all the details to pull through warmth put it’s a stunner to hear. Meteor is on track to become one of my favorite releases of 2022.
The meteor is an excellent sounding u-shaped set. The bass is wonderful, and adds lots of weight, impact, and punch. The treble and treble extension are among the best at this price. I ordered as a preorder, and headphones.com was quick to send once they came in. Great experience all around.
