Overall rating: 4.3 / 5 from 24 reviews.
Tip is semi proprietary and LARGE so tip rolling these is rather difficult. I ended up using clarions. The set is a strong V shape tuning with big sub base. But the bass is not very resoving and very muddy. The app is useful and built in 10 band eq helps a lot. This is not an end game wireless set.
Let me say up front that I am NOT a fan of Bluetooth headphones. That being says I would figure $400 plus for a headset should give me reasonably good sound. This set let me down. There is simply not enough headroom to allow for dynamics, sibilants, attack, etc. to make the listening experience even slightly realistic. My theory is that a Bluetooth headset direct hand room for decent amplification. I notice distortion starts occurring at high volume levels which lead me to believe compromises had to be made with amp quality. The controls on the headset are far too touchy, to the point where you can’t adjust the set after that are in your ear without making Bluetooth disconnect or some other change occur. While I surcoats the level of sophistication built into the logic of the controls, sometimes technology can get in the way of actual use. The ear cushions do not fit well. I’ve tried a few of them… none actually create a seal with my ears. And… several of them don’t even fit around the stem! Sound isolation is non existent. A reasonably noisy YMCA was too much for these headphones. That being said I could live with the compromises for the sake of the benefits of Bluetooth IF THEY WERE WORTH OVER $400! I waited awhile to write this review figuring I would eventually figure out the quirks of this headset and, for the most part I have done so. I’ve tried Apple Music on my iPhone and on my MacBook. I’ve used it with Roon, and to write music with Sibelius. I’ve pretty much figured out where I can touch the headphones to make adjustments and have downloaded the EQ app to tweak the sound. All this has made the headphones livable however I fail to see any improvement over $200 etymotics, for instance, and my Vmoda XS, which is well worn but still kicking. Again I am not a big fan of Bluetooth. This headset has not changed that.
Loved them until they started falling to pieces. Held together with glue and prayers. Not able to withstand daily use for longer than a couple months. Really disappointed. One of the back covers has come off and the other one is completely f*cked after I tried to remove the silicone tip to clean it and the whole speaker came clean off.
My top 2 earbuds and I own over 40 pair. Service was great with fast shipping.
Overall is great
Base gets really distorted and sounds like damaged speakers when base in increased to mas in the customization section.
First time I ever spent a large sum on earbuds, but these IEMs are worth every penny. Thank you for the recommendation!
Great purchase! Excellent sound, it has exceeded my expectations! The order arrived very quickly and without any problem! I will recommend it!
The sound is excellent. The only weakn ess is that the on and off function is inconsistent. I just had an episode wherein the earbuds were howling inside their case. That means the noise reduction was trying inside thew case. That means it did not shut itself off as it was supposed to. I suspect that the case was out of juice. But I am charging now, and I will see. There is a way of shutting them off, but it would be REALLY GOOD if they had a wear sensor. Personally, I have been using them, and this event reduces my confidence in them. The sound quality is impressive; it rivals a $600 to $1,000 wired IEM.
EXCEPTIONAL!! Upon receiving my Noble FoKus Rex5 I jumped in and tried them out…a bit concerning! You must download the Noble Rex 5 app to really get started. These IEMs are extremely capable, but you need to set them up through the app. Plus you really need to use the app’s personal EQ hearing function to tune the 5s to your specific hearing (a truly amazing tool). Finally you have a 10-band EQ and an equalizer to fine tune even more. How Noble packed all the drivers into such a compact package is amazing. The sound is exceptional, clean with plenty of separation. They are “in-ear” so the sound stage is in your head, but trying desperately to bust out. A few other thoughts…Deciding on the right “tips” before setting up your personal EQ is important, there is a firmware update to install so you must have the IEMs in their case, linked to your device (iPhone for me) for the update to be downloaded and installed. Again, the Noble FoKus Rex5s are EXCEPTIONAL.
Very good sound quality
Great product and delivered intact
Fantastic earbuds, love the personalized audio feature and the sound es everything I hoped for. Noble has become one of my new favorite brands
Worth every pennies. The drivers set up itself deserved a purchase.
The REX5 has amazing looks and build quality. The IEMs themselves are beautiful but the green aluminum case is outstanding. The sound straight out of the box is nice, but running the Audiodo personalization really makes this set perfect. Then if you like EQ and layer that on top of the personalization you can make this TWS anything you want. This will replace my Sennheiser TWS Momentum 3 that I've used for 2 years now, as my at work daily driver. As always the Headphones.com experience was great!
These are the best TWS IEMs around. Incredible soundstage, fantastic bass. The app is a must, with the parametric EQ and the Audiodo personal EQ features.
I bought these hoping for a better sounding alternative than AirPods Pro. I am very happy with my purchase, these things Rock the bass is way deeper and the highs are way crisper . Love them
Sound amazing fit great and had many options for ear pads!!! Nice case and magnetic 🧲!! Five stars!!!❤️
Absolutely amazing!
These are the best wireless headphones I’ve ever had. I have Bose, Apple, Sony, and a pair of wired Focal headphones. The best by far. I did the personalized EQ and the sound got even better. (Apparently I’m a little deaf..lol). I don’t know how to explain it but the music sounds more fun🤷🏾♀️. I hear notes I haven’t heard before in songs I’ve listened to for years. It’s better than that Spatial Audio apple is selling. Try a pair of these before you try Apple Air Max. And when the ANC is on I’m cut off from the entire world. As good or better than Bose. All I hear is what I got playing.
Great drivers. Fit nicely. Easy to pair. Great sound.
Great service and product offerings
Excellent!!! A sure winer!!!
