Roon Core Built In

Brooklyn Bridge II includes an Intel i5 processor running RoonOS, allowing it to function as a full Roon Core without the need for an external server. Control playback from the Roon Remote app, Mytek web interface, or the front panel touchscreen. It also supports multiroom playback to other Roon endpoints throughout your home.

Redesigned Platform and Power Supply

Compared to the original Brooklyn Bridge, the Bridge II features a toroidal linear power supply and updated internal architecture. These changes result in lower noise, improved dynamics, and a noticeable increase in overall sound quality. The DAC and analog stages are familiar in design but benefit directly from the improved power delivery.

High Performance DAC and Analog Stage

The ESS Sabre ES9038 DAC delivers up to 130dB of dynamic range with support for PCM up to 384kHz and native DSD up to DSD256. Mytek’s FemtoClock technology minimizes jitter, while flexible volume control options allow precise level matching for both headphone and line outputs.

Streaming and Connectivity

Brooklyn Bridge II is designed primarily for Roon users but also supports AirPlay, Chromecast, DLNA, Bluetooth 5, and USB playback from external drives. It includes both line level and phono inputs, making it a complete digital and analog hub for modern systems.

Headphone Amplifier

The built in reference headphone amplifier delivers up to 6 watts of power with high current capability. Dual quarter inch outputs allow two headphones to be connected simultaneously, making it suitable for demanding planar magnetic and dynamic designs.
