The Edition XV didn't suit my hearing, which has a couple of mild dips in the upper midrange, making too forward a midrange ring my ears a bit. At age 75, I can't hear much above 8 kHz and nothing above 9.5 kHz. The Arya Organic is as close to perfect as I want to get. They handle quality orchestra and big band recordings remarkably well. Older people aren't likely to complain about sibilance. I was happy with my Edition XS, but the Arya Organic is a clear cut above in every area.
First higher end headphones, wanted something similar to what I was used to which was the K702. These headphones fit that perfectly, and improved where the K702 lacked, soundstage didn’t really change but I did hear much clearer bass and treble. No muddy sounds. Is it worth $700? Ehhhhh for me it is but I didn’t really realize what I was missing out on until after wearing these for a while then trying to switch back to the K702.
I'm very pleased with the sound and comfort of the Ayra Organic headphones.
Bought these as my first open-back. Wanted something alongside my HD 820. - Subpar without EQ. I felt it lacked overall presence that would make me continue to listen to my assortment of orchestral to metal tracks. I was thinking, where's the sound stage and bass? - Amazing with EQ that I told myself I should have bought these instead of the HD 820! Not much else needs to be said since there are a plethora of reviews out for it.
Unforgivably, ridiculously, cartoonishly bright. It's the audio equivalent of staring at the sun. Cymbal crashes sound like someone dropping silverware into a drawer. Not enjoyable at all, truly. I should have listened to the reviewers who said so. Many people say "yeah they're absurdly bright, but just EQ them." Uh, no. EQing should be for dialing in personal preference, not correcting a big, obvious, terrible problem. I am sincerely baffled that HIFIMAN thought this tuning was desirable to anyone, anywhere. It's kind of hard to believe, honestly. These headphones should never be sold to any human being. Stop the madness. As for the YouTube reviewers affiliated with headphones.com, I will never listen to any of their opinions ever again. If you think this is a good headphone, you might have hearing damage, at least in the higher frequencies. The emperor has no clothes. But hey, at least they're comfortable and built well, hence 3 stars instead of 1. Don't buy these headphones.
Absolutely stellar headphones. I owned these at the same time as the HE-1000 Stealth and I much preferred the tuning of the Organics. They sound more spacious and punchy to me. The HE-1000 sound great too, but with more subdued treble and bass, and don’t have the dynamics (punch) of the Organics. My previous favorite headphones were the Focal OG Clear, but these are on a different level IMO. I power these with an iFi Hip DAC Stealth, which sounds fuller, slightly warmer than neutral, and have more punch than my previous dongle DAC (FiiO KA1). I connect the iFi to my iPhone and play tracks using Apple Music in Hi-Res Lossless mode. I listen to everything from modern metal to the Beatles with the Organics and they just sound incredible for any material I’ve thrown at them so far. Overall, I think these are a great buy if you’re serious about sound quality, especially at the reduced sub $1000 price. Highly recommend.

Extremely detailed, bright, and deep sound, lovely bass that doesn’t shy away but doesn’t overpower anything to occupy the space. Speaking of space, an incredibly wide soundstage joining all those other details to create one of the best headphones I’ve heard.

The Arya Organic is definitely one of my favorites. The Arya/HE1000 design in general are THE most comfortable headphone design as well. Very light, good support on top, very open (stays cool), and surround the ears without touching. Bass is very nice, deep, and impactful. Treble is also good, bright but smooth. Compared to the HE1000se the organic are more v shaped sounding, but not by a lot. Still sound very similar. HE1000SE is a bit smoother and has more natural mid range.

The Aria organic certainly lived up to all the reviews on you tube! I think it sounds a little better that the Susvara which is saying something.
These sound really great. Bought these to compare to my focal clear og. In my few hours of comparing I would say these sound about the same in clarity and bass. The biggest difference is the organic having a much wider sound stage and more bright, but not bothersome bright. Noticed the “s” sounds from vocals weren’t as sharp on the organic on a few tracks. Overall, if you already own something like the the og focal, the organic is definitely a side grade unless your looking for a wider sound stage then you may consider theses a upgrade. 10/10 headphone
I’ve been planning to pick up a pair of the Arya SE but when the Organics were announced and released, the timing couldn’t be more perfect. Fantastic headphones and I’m loving the planar’s technicality.
After a lot of research, I purchased these beautiful headphones. While this is my first pair of what I consider to be high-end cans, higher quality/sounding musical gear has been part of my life for 40 years. I paired them with an XDUOO TA-22, upgraded the headphone cord to an Audiophile Ninja and have them connected to my iphone via the Apple Lightning to USB3 Camera adapter and Supra High-Speed USB cord playing lossless and high-res lossless via Apple Music and they sound wonderful. I can't speak to the soundstage, timbre, low, mid and high, etc. but again, they sound incredible.
Much better vocals than Stealth have a bit of an added stage / concert hall effect to all tracks. Packaging is like a $150 headphone and cable is pretty bad for a $1300 item.
