Description
The ELAC Debut 3.0 series was developed to bring ELAC acoustic heritage and elevated design to accessible hi-fi systems. The Debut 3.0 DB63 pairs a newly developed aramid fiber woofer with a newly developed aluminum dome tweeter, supported by cabinet bracing and refined cosmetics, for a speaker that looks clean in a modern space and plays with clarity, control, and impact.
Key Features
- Newly developed 1 inch aluminum dome tweeter designed for clear, detailed high frequency reproduction and wide dispersion
- Newly developed 6.5 inch aramid fiber woofer engineered for tight, accurate bass with low distortion
- Internal cabinet bracing to reduce unwanted vibrations and improve tonal accuracy
- Magnetically attached grilles for a clean, hardware-free look and easy removal
- Easy to drive design intended to work well with a wide range of amplifiers
- Dual flared bass reflex port and 5-way metal binding posts
Sound and Use Case
DB63 is designed to deliver a balanced presentation with strong bass definition and articulate detail. The aluminum dome tweeter is intended to preserve nuance in vocals and instruments while maintaining consistent coverage across the listening area. The aramid fiber woofer is designed for punchy, well-defined low frequencies with minimal coloration. Internal bracing helps keep the cabinet quiet so sound is driven by the drivers rather than cabinet resonance.
This is a strong fit for stereo music systems, desktop hi-fi, and compact living room setups where you want full-range performance from a bookshelf form factor. With a 6 ohm nominal impedance and 87 dB sensitivity, DB63 is intended to reach satisfying volume with modest amplifier power.
