The AR5000MK2 uses a 50mm open-back dynamic driver with Aune’s Multi-Layer Distributed diaphragm structure. The MLD diaphragm is designed to balance rigidity and damping, helping reduce breakup that can occur in larger dynamic drivers.

For the MK2 version, Aune further optimized the diaphragm material and surface treatment. The result is clearer treble extension, a more open sense of air, and improved smoothness through the upper frequencies.

Full-Range Balance with Greater Extension

Aune tuned the AR5000MK2 for a natural, complete tonal balance. Compared with the previous generation, the MK2 extends both the sub-bass and ultra-high frequencies while refining the transition from the mids into the highs.
